James Johnatakis, I.T. Director at Emmett, nominated this organization and states "Emmett School District in Emmett, Idaho, is community based and supported. We support 14 buildings spread throughout the county with 3 full time technicians. Because of a very tight budget, the district has not been able to purchase user computers for many years and has relied on community donations. The current Trouble Ticket system is being used by students, teachers, faculty, staff and parents. It is very simplistic and inflexible with poor reporting capabilities and inadequate controls... it does not meet the needs of the district. ...In addition, the web site has been hacked by a spammer that is randomly submitting close to 25 adult worded requests a day. These requests are embarrassing but cannot be blocked without also blocking valid help desk requests..."
